Global Settings Lock

Обновлено 14 августа 2026 г.

Freezing your account settings behind a waiting period you choose.

The Global Settings Lock freezes the settings an attacker would need to change before they could take anything: adding a withdrawal address, changing your password, and managing two-factor authentication. While it is on, those changes are refused.

The waiting period

You choose how long an unlock takes when you enable the lock, from 24 hours up to 30 days. Requesting an unlock starts that clock and emails you. If the request was not you, cancel it from that email and your settings stay locked. This is the point of the feature: someone who has taken over your session still cannot change anything without you being told, well in advance.

Unlocking immediately

Your Master Key passkey unlocks the settings straight away, with no waiting period. You must register one before the lock can be enabled.

What else changes while it is on

  • Your balances, history and addresses are hidden.
  • Withdrawals are blocked.
  • Creating a new API key is blocked. Revoking an existing key is not — turning access off is always allowed.

Register a Master Key you will not lose. Without it, every unlock takes the full waiting period you chose.
